چکیده
This article is devoted to the study of combined effect siliceous fly ash (FA), silica fume (SF), and nanosilica (nS) on cement matrix morphology size microcracks occurring in Interfacial Transition Zone (ITZ) between coarse aggregate paste concrete composites based ordinary Portland (OPC). The manuscript contains analyses width (Wc) ITZ area concretes quaternary blended cements changes question. Experiments were planned for four types concrete. Three them (QBC), while fourth was reference (REF). Based observations matrices individual composites, it found that REF characterized by most heterogeneous structure. However, substitution part binder with active pozzolanic additives resulted a more compact homogenous structure each QBC series concretes. Moreover, when analyzing average Wc values, should be stated modification basic present significant reduction analyzed parameter all series. For QBC-1, QBC-2, QBC-3, values 0.70 μm, 0.59 0.79 respectively, indicating decrease 38%, almost 48%, 30%, compared working condition without additives. On basis above results, can therefore concluded proposed composition materials clearly leads homogenization composite limitation initial internal damages

Influence of Blended Cements with Calcareous Fly Ash on Chloride Ion Migration and Carbonation Resistance of Concrete for Durable Structures
The objective of this paper is to examine the possible use of new blended cements containing calcareous fly ash in structural concrete, potentially adequate for structural elements of nuclear power plants. The investigation included five new cements made with different contents of non-clinker constituents: calcareous fly ash, siliceous fly ash, ground granulated blastfurnace slag, and a referen...

This paper presents a study on the behavior of concrete produced from multi-component blended cements. These blends were prepared by blending 20 percent to 60 percent ASTM Type I cement with the combination of Class C fly ash and clean coal ash. Two percent to four percent sodium sulfate anhydrite was added to the blends as a chemical activator. Tests were conducted on the prepared concrete for...

This paper presents a novel design of quaternary logic gates using graphene nanoribbon field effect transistors (GNRFETs). GNRFETs are the alternative devices for digital circuit design due to their superior carrier-transport properties and potential for large-scale processing. In addition, Multiple-valued logic (MVL) is a promising alternative to the conventional binary logic design. Sa...
متن کاملUse of Superplasticizers in Concrete and Their Compatibility with Cements
This investigation formed a prior stage of a research programme which was concerned about performance of various types of concrete under sulphate attack. It was intended to investigate into the use of superplasticizers in concrete, the aspect of compatibility among available cements & superplasticizers and to choose a suitable pair of them for the programme. Three different types of available c...
